Q.Please tell us what is good about ZOY and your favorite items.
"There are a lot. Well, I had an image of it being classical, something that adults, couples, and the like would wear, but now it's really functional and we don't feel any stress in wearing it as we play golf all the time. It's easy to move in, and of course even when we wear it during a match, it doesn't put any strain on our swing or make it difficult to move. Also, they make it with the materials in mind according to the season, so it's really cool in the summer. Quick-drying is also very important, so they pay attention to that as well, and of course it's UV-resistant, and in winter they add stretch in places where it's needed most, so I think that's a great way to show that they care about the players, and I think that there are points that not only professional golfers but all golfers can relate to. The winter clothes are warm too, so I think they're made with golfers' thoughts in mind."
Q. Is there a reason why you wanted to wear ZOY?
"I was first approached through Instagram, and when I first started wearing them I never thought I'd be wearing ZOY clothes, so to be honest I wasn't sure what it would feel like to wear them during a match. But as I started to wear them I found them to be very comfortable to move around in, and now I feel like I'd rather not wear anything other than ZOY. As for the design, I'm in my 30s, so it's easy to wear, and it suits my age. And the functionality is the best, too. It's easy to move around in. Also, it's easy for fans to buy, and since I have a lot of male fans, I think it's easy for men to wear and match with the clothes, so I really like it."
Q: What do you do in your free time?
"I usually go out to play rounds. I go to various places around the Kanto area, and I also go with fellow pros and sponsors. I often play with people who I can't play with during the season."
-- So there are three professionals in that group? It seems like they'd be able to finish in about two hours. (laughs)
That's right, that's why I stand out (laughs). I usually make a reservation online, and then we'll all go to the driving range together! And then we'll all show up at the driving range about an hour before and start hitting balls. I stand out a lot (laughs). But I guess people have really started talking to me more, even at the golf course.
People at the golf course and caddies often talk to you.
-- It must take a lot of courage for ordinary people to reach out to you.
"I think it takes a lot of courage to speak up, but I'm totally welcome, so I just give off a welcoming aura and say hello to everyone who passes by!"
-- That's impressive (laughs). So on your days off you sometimes go out to eat with friends or play golf.
Q: What are your future goals?
"I'm aiming to get a seed this season, and although I'm not getting many matches in the first half of the season, I've been trying to get a chance little by little, and while I have the chance, I've always wanted to win or finish in the top spots during the year I've been playing, but now I'm aiming for specific matches, and I'm going to fight in a way I've never done before. My goals are clear, so I hope I can get a seed by clearing them one by one."

"I'd like to hear about it. Since the number of matches is limited, I want to achieve good results within those."
